Since my ordination in 1984, it has been my privilege to serve my Lord at four different parishes: Our Savior, Welcome, NC; Living Word, Memphis, TN; Pilgrim, Marysville, MI; and now at King of Kings. I have a passion for two things in ministry-- bringing people to Christ, and then helping grow disciples for Jesus. I see faith as a journey we all take together. The roads we walk are often different and diverse. But I know that in the end, "Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus Christ as Lord!" Beyond ministry, I love to travel and see the wonders of God's creation.

I am truly blessed to be able to serve our Lord and Savior with my gift of music. I encourage all of you who have musical gifts to come forward and use them for His glory. Each and every Sunday we sing our praises with a variety of different groups. From our “Praise Band” and “Praise Team” to our “Alleluia Choir” we lift His name on high! The music ministry is one ministry working together with different branches to bring about a prayerful experience for all and, most importantly, a worship experience that inspires the participation of both congregation and choir, always bringing glory to God! I pray for His blessings upon you and yours.

I have enjoyed working as the secretary for King of Kings since August, 2006.  I have been married to my husband, Rich, for twenty years and we have two wonderful children. Our son, Ryan, is at Grand Valley State University and he is studying music education. Our daughter, Lynsey, is in High School and keeps very busy with band, dance, and forensics. Some of my favorite things to do are meeting new people, volunteering, reading, boating with the family, and gardening.

I was hired as the full-time Director of Family Ministries in January 2010, but I first discovered my passion for sharing the gospel with youth and families a few years ago while serving as a volunteer in the Wednesday night programs right here at King of Kings.  Since moving to Lake Orion from Memphis, TN in 2007, I have been proud to call this place my home and the people here my family.  I am deeply committed to making disciples of all ages and growing families closer together as they grow closer to God.  It has been exciting to watch God’s Holy Spirit move in and among this congregation, guiding us and molding us into what He wants us to be, and I can’t wait to see where He leads us next.  In the words of one of my favorite songs, “greater things are yet to come, and greater things are still to be done in this city!”
